National Foundation for Giving Voice Performance Project
For Mental Health Awareness Day

This event is a group session culminating in a one-off performance – all in one day
Open to anyone – whether or not you've done Giving Voice before, whether or not you have experience of mental distress. This event is about bringing people together through Giving Voice - a tool for promoting health – mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health.

These days are to help you bring song into your life! You can take part from wherever you are - at home, work, on holiday, whatever! You need to be able to contact Rachel by phone and commit in advance to engaging with song using the Giving Voice process, in an individually tailored way to suit you and your day. You don't need any previous experience of Giving Voice, but you do need to contact us well in advance so we can plan together what you will do on the day

begin at 7pm prompt and finish at 8.45pm. Admission is £3 pay on the door.
Connecting with the Power of Song: a three session course
on Sunday afternoons in Chorlton with Caroline Thorpe. Dates
December 7th, December 21st and January 4th 2- 5pm.
Cost £38.50 or £23 concessions

Giving Voice for Peace Monthly sessions on 3rd Thursday.
New course for members
Giving Voice and Living is a series of courses for members of the National Foundation for Giving Voice. Previous courses, led by Jill, have addressed Communication and Sharing Songs. Now Rachel is offering a course for members for the first time, about Enjoyment – how to find it, keep it, and put it to good service!

We had a great session in April: one person travelled 5 hours to participate and said that it was well worth it for a 2-hour session! They're usually led by Jill and held in the Huddersfield area. Let us know if you could do with a 'top-up'; dates/times - and possibly even venues - are arranged to suit.
