Giving Voice for Peace
How can I participate?
People can support GVforP in countless ways, for example through:-
- distributing Songs to Facilitate the Promotion of Peace tapes and cards to people in need and people in power world-wide
- being a contact in your community/choir/town/city/country
- linking us up with potential partner organisations
- Enabling our trained facilitators to offer Giving Voice for Peace as part of special services and events - eg in churches/cathedrals/ mosques/ synagogues/Taize events etc
- initiating, hosting and/or helping organise live events offering a group experience of GV and how it can promote peace
- publicity and recruitments of attenders
- learning how song can be used as a tool (either through singing or listening) in their own lives
- joining a network of others involved in Giving Voice for Peace
- disseminating information about how people can be involved
- offering loans or donations to fund further duplication/distribution of tapes
- giving us feedback if you choose to experiment with using GV fP in your life
- discover the benefits of GV for yourself - eg by coming on our annual residential
- participating in Giving Voice events
(nb. previous experience of GV is needed for some events)
